Hi, I’m Freelie, the free-range autistic.
The name “free range” was inspired from free range eggs because, supposedly, free-range chickens are allowed to roam around outside.
Much like a chicken, I too like to roam about. It’s been said that autistic children like to roam as well.
I was diagnosed with autism and ADHD in my late 40s.
Unfortunately, the diagnosis did not come with an instruction manual, nor did it offer any suggestions on how to thrive with this new information.
This site is about my experience roaming around this crazy, alien world, and trying to figure out what the hell is going on.
